About

I admit that sometimes I am not the easiest person to keep track of. Jetting off to here and there; I am never at home by my phone. Hopefully you can keep up to date with these notes. --Dan

When I lived in Las Vegas, my favorite happy hour was at the Kona Grill in Boca Park. I hadn’t been to happy hour since my January trip to Vegas. I had a fever, and the only cure was more Kona. The closest Kona Grill to Minneapolis was 471 miles south, so on Monday Ben, Steve, and I went over to Kansas City for Happy Hour from 10pm till close. Ben enjoyed the chicken satay with cabbage slaw & sweet hoisin dipping sauce. Steve and I ordered all the sushi we could eat; Crab, spicy tuna, California, and Atlantic rolls flew out of the sushi chef’s station. In addition to all the tasty sushi, the two of us managed to take down five Saki Bombers, or twenty saki bombs in total. Sapporo and saki, ichi ni san! We were the last ones to leave the bar, and we wandered around the attractive river walk for an hour in Country Club Plaza, taking pictures with all the statues.
