Doni Kay works on Nicollet Mall at the News Room, and I have visited her there numerous times. Since I am often downtown, I decided to sign up for their beer tour. For those not familiar, beer tours involve drinking a large variety of a restaurant/bar’s beers in exchange for some token prize. This prize is almost always a shirt of some kind, and I am now five beers closer to obtaining that “free” News Room shirt. The funny thing about the New Room’s beer tour is that there are about eighty beers on the list! This is much larger than average. I doubt anyone has ever finished it, but give me a few years and I’ll see what I can do.
