About

I admit that sometimes I am not the easiest person to keep track of. Jetting off to here and there; I am never at home by my phone. Hopefully you can keep up to date with these notes. --Dan

I am sitting at Midway as my third summer in Boston has just come to a close. Summers on the East coast seem to have become a tradition, and I wonder whether I will be back again. I made many new friends these past few months, and was reunited with countless others. In some ways it feels sad to leave such an engaging city, where there weren’t enough nights in the week. On the other hand it will be good to see my friends up in the Midwest and out in Las Vegas again.

At Logan I saw a TSA security guy ripping apart my guitar and case, and I have been worried that it has been scratched up. In addition, the check in desk girl also did not neglect her duties as normal. She reminded me that she wasn’t responsible for what happened to my guitar and had me sign away any recourse. I have horrible images of the ground crews riding the moving belts up into the plane while pulling a Van Halen with my precious, bouncing around in my head.
