About

I admit that sometimes I am not the easiest person to keep track of. Jetting off to here and there; I am never at home by my phone. Hopefully you can keep up to date with these notes. --Dan

For the last ten years I have managed to set aside a weekend in April to play the greatest game in the greatest town, trivia in Stevens Point. I drove to Madison to go out with Jeremy, then to Minneapolis to pick up Ben. He needed a ride to Stevens Point to help begin preparations for the wild weekend ahead.

Trivia starts with a vast parade through downtown, and our team had won first place in float contest for the past two years. We thought we had a fine chance this year as well. Trisha, Rachel, and Charys dressed up as young Viking lasses and rollerbladed alongside our sexy Viking Ship! Unlike other floats in the parade, our float is always self-propelled, and we use a web cam for the driver to see in front of us. This year the clutch on the old baby finally went out, during the middle of the parade! Our boat failed to pass the judges, so our winning streak was finished.

This year at trivia there were several film crews working to create a documentary about the contest. They loved our float and recorded it for most of the parade route. During the contest they also stopped into our team headquarters to record our insanity!

Over the past several years I had played around more at trivia. Strumming guitars, watching movies, talking to girls, and running around the town have always been my priorities. This year I answered questions and slept; I was a workaholic and a true team player!
