It was Monday morning, and we decided on a whim to go to Los Angeles for a couple days! I had never been to Hollywood before and it was exciting to see all the famous sites and shops. I discovered that my feet are bigger than the majority of the actors whose imprints are in front of Grauman’s Chinese theater! We ate at a great Neo-Fusion Thai restaurant which had great salmon!
The next day I enjoyed leisurely eating breakfast at a small cafe on Sunset Boulevard. Melrose Avenue was full of tiny shops, restaurants, and boutiques that reminded me a lot of State Street. The girl working at Fred Segal was “really” impressed with my Ramones t-shirt, as any fashion-trendy girl should be. We successfully completed our mission of bringing a stereo to upcoming actress April Scott, and saw a man with a porn star mustache. To top the evening off, we sat at a coffee shop and then had a slow dinner at a little Italian restaurant on Melrose.
